Julia Jarman decided to be a writer when she was eight. Since 1985 she has written over 60 children's books, published by Andersen Press, HarperCollins, Scholastic, Orchard and others. Her titles include the popular Time Travelling Cat series. Julia is a frequent and entertaining visitor to schools and libraries at home and abroad. She is married with three children and lives in a Bedfordshire village. Miriam Latimer grew up in St. Albans, Hertfordshire, and studied illustration at the University of the West of England, gaining a first class honours degree in 2003. Her first picture book, Wheelie Girl, was published in 2006. Since graduating, Miriam has married and moved to Plymouth where she works from her studio overlooking the sea.
