Description

With the discontinuation of Kodachrome film and the ceasing of film processing at the last remaining Kodachrome developer in December 2010, photographers both professional and amateur mourned the end of an era. This project will feature 20 images from the final rolls of Kodachrome ever developed in all their retro-colour glory, in our winning Polaroid Notes format.

Author description

Susan Hacker Stang is a photographer and educator. As the head of the photography program at Webster University she spearheaded a project to have students and faculty shoot some of the final rolls of Kodachrome ever developed; the resulting body of work became an exhibition and a book; Kodachrome: End of the Run. Stang's work is held in over 20 museum collections worldwide, and she publishes and exhibits regularly.
