Traumatised by the disappearance of his daughter Claire, Taylor Bridges marriage breaks down, and he exiles himself to Glorys Crossing, a small country town in Tasmania. Taylor is the only ranger in an isolated town adjoining a national park, a town dying a slow death as the rising waters of the new dam project slowly floods it.

B. Michael Radburn lives with his family in the lush Southern Highlands of NSW. He works for a Sydney printing group. Apart from writing, his other passions are farming his small property, going on road trips on his Harley Davidson, and his deep passion for music. He treasures his time with his guitar, banjo and harmonica. Radburn has been writing successfully for many years, having under his belt more than 80 short stories, articles and reviews published in Australia and abroad. Throughout the late '80s he was Publishing Editor of the Australian Horror & Fantasy Magazine and founder of Dark Press Publications.
