Have you tried every diet going only to see the weight creep back on again? Do you feel guilty and anxious about eating certain foods? Or find yourself unable to resist that extra helping even if you're not actually that hungry? Are you unhappy with your body and how it looks and feels? Now is the time to stop what you're doing and try a different, healthy and brilliantly effective approach...The Headspace Diet is designed to show you how to find your ideal weight in an easy, manageable and safe way. It will teach you how to remind your body of its own natural intelligence and ability to self regulate, allowing you to escape the neverending diet trap. Here you will follow simple yet potentially life-changing exercises in order to develop new effective habits and a much improved relationship with food and your body. Mindfulness based meditation is the hot topic in neuroscience, over 2000 scientific papers have already been published in medical journals showing just what extraordinary benefits this easy practice has to offer. The Headspace mission is to get as many people taking just 10 minutes out of their day to practice these powerful techniques.
Mindful eating is a key aspect of mindfulness and as you start to practise it you will notice profound results, both in terms of your shape but also your overall health and well being.
'The expert's expert - Britain's top meditation guru' - The Times 'Andy Puddicombe is doing for meditation what Jamie Oliver has done for food' - New York Times 'Learn to live in the moment... with GET SOME HEADSPACE by top meditation guru Andy Puddicombe. Andy Puddicombe started learning to meditate at the age of 11. In his early twenties he decided to act on his hunch that there had to be more to life, and set off to Asia to become a Buddhist monk. He became a fully ordained monk at a Tibetan Monastery in the Himalayas, and spent many years living in monasteries throughout the world. Andy returned to the UK in 2004 with one simple intention: to demystify meditation, to make it accessible, relevant and beneficial to as many people as possible. The seeds of Headspace were sown. Andy is now a registered Clinical Meditation Consultant with the UK Healthcare Commission.
