John O'Donnell is a long-standing member of the Australian music industry. Starting as a freelance writer, he eventually became the music editor of Rolling Stone (Australia) before leaving to co-found and edit Juice. In 1994 he started the internationally successful Murmur label (signing Silverchair, Something For Kate, Jebediah). From 2002 2009, he was CEO of EMI Music Australasia. Toby Creswell has been writing about popular culture for 30 years. After editing the Australian edition of Rolling Stone for 10 years he co-founded the magazine publishing house Terraplanet. He has written numerous books: 1001 Songs, Love Is in the Air, Notorious Australians, Too Much Ain't Enough, The Real Thing (with Martin Fabinyi) and 1001 Australians. Craig Mathieson reviews contemporary music and film for The Age, The Sydney Morning Herald, The Sun-Herald and Rolling Stone (Australia) magazine. A former editor of Juice magazine, contributor to London's infamous New Music Express and film critic for The Bulletin, he has been writing about Australian music since 1989.John, Toby and Craig last contributed together on The Best 100 Australian Albums, published in November 2010, which went on to sell in excess of 9,500 copies.
