A moonlit forest. A sinister castle. A vengeful vampire. When Viviana is invited to become the aid of a rich countess, she is overjoyed. Working in the castle means a year’s education and lodging –it would change Vivi’s life. But when Vivi meets the countess – who is so frail and unwell that she sleeps through each day – and starts to notice increasingly strange behaviour around the castle at night, she begins to truly question whether she’s safe.
